ABOUT ERIC SCHULZ

ERIC SCHULZ is a marketing consultant & corporate trainer, He is part of the marketing faculty at the Jon M Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He previously taught at Brigham Young University and The University of Utah.

Eric is a thought-leader within the marketing industry and academia. His real-world experience combined with cutting-edge marketing tools, creativity & insights continually breaks new ground in industry best practices. 

 

He honed his marketing skills over two decades working at some of the world's top consumer product companies -- Procter & Gamble, The Walt Disney Company, and The Coca-Cola Company.   He also worked in sports and entertainment marketing with the XFL Football League, Utah Jazz basketball team, minor league baseball, Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice, and more.

 

A small sample of consulting clients Eric has helped include Nestle, Kraft, Cardinal Health, Cox Cable, Procter & Gamble, eBay, and PayPal.  He has consulted for The Wasatch Group, Campbell Scientific, Utah Governor's Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities, and many others.

Eric is the author of three marketing books, his most recent "Marketing in the Digital Age", was published in 2019.  

 

He previously authored "The Marketing Game, How the World's Best Companies Play to Win" (2002) and “The Smart Marketer’s Toolbox” (2012).
